Mastering a skill while looking graceful

A skill consist in the ability to bring about some end result with maximum certainty and minimum outlay of energy, or of time and energy

Mr. Guthrie's (1952) definition of Skill:
"Skill consists in the ability to bring about some end result with maximum certainty and minimum outlay of energy, or of time and energy."
Goal Oriented - Running fast, throwing a football, making a TD catch, kicking a field goal, making a perfect form tackle

Meeting a performance goal with maximum certainty - Running a way that allows for winning a race...not relying on what we might call luck for your  achievements.

Minimization- of energy -  Skillful people make a task look easy (both from physiological and psychological perspectives) - normally this is a function of practice which contributes to automaticity. Something we might call Grace.

Learned through practice - These types of skill are generally not normal movements like walking or chewing...These types of skills are complexed movements that require some focused effort towards gaining mastery.
